Watching your friends and family go through intense seasons of it can be polarizing for just about anyone.

When help is denied and any attempt and moving towards health is thwarted we’re left with an overwhelming hopelessness and sadness.

All you can do is stand from a distance and wonder “Where did they go wrong?” or “Could I have stopped this or done better?”

My song The Process talks about this very situation

I wrote the song at a time when he was reflecting on all the unspoken emotions he’d held onto over the past years whilst my house mate went through a season of depression, regret and bitterness towards people around him.

“I found the first step towards my own healing was to honestly embrace every emotion I felt so that I could let it go. My hope is that The Process will lead people to be truly honest with themselves in whatever difficult situation they find themselves in”
